My friend Andy… June 2, 2008

My friend Andy Bloch was at the final table of the World Series of Poker last night and came in second. I was very upset about it, and wanted him to know that me, Mom and Dad were at home last night rooting for him. In consideration of Uncle Andy’s great performance and the start of the WSOP, I had dad take this picture of me…

Today was a good day. Mom went to the doctor and got some staples removed and checked out — she’s doing really well. Dad gave me a bath for the first time today too. The water was a little too cold, and I let Dad know that I wasn’t happy about it by peeing all over him. He’ll do better next time, I’m sure.

Rosemary, my Doula, has been a great help. She’s always here helping mom get used to me and teaching her how to do everything the right way. Unfortunately, she’s leaving tomorrow to go back to San Diego and mom and dad will be on their own. I really hope they learned everything they needed to know. Thank you Rosemary! If you guys are looking for a Doula, I can tell you that Rosemary is the absolute best. You can find her at http://www.northcountydoulas.com.

I see the bath was taking place in the kitchen. Phil finally figured out what that sprayer thingy was for I’m betting. Just watch out for the disposal switch!
